Takeover Saturday 2

The first one worked. Here's the second.

DJ Karlo and DJ Mark Ocheda are back behind the decks at Kinshi Rinji — house, hip hop, and R&B, two DJs trading the booth from nine until late.

No cover. It's free.

What you're walking into

House for the floor, hip hop for the room, R&B for everything in between. Karlo and Mark ran this the first time by reading the crowd instead of the clock — the set goes where the night takes it.

Nine o'clock start means you can eat first, show up late, and still catch most of it.

Why come out

• Free admission. No ticket, no list, no cover at the door.
• Doors at 9. A proper Saturday night, not an early one.
• Old Strathcona, just off Whyte Ave — easy to get to, easier to get home from.
• Two DJs, one floor. House · Hip Hop · R&B all night.

Bring people. A dance floor is only as good as who's on it.
